Wow! Time has flown over the last month and it’s been a little while since we’ve published a post. So here it is, our long overdue post for you to see some of the new plants we’ve grown this year.
Lophos Vine available at Christie’s Gardens and Greenhouses Ltd.
Lofos, Wine Red Vine
This beautiful plant can be trained to climb or to trail over the sides of your planters. It will feature dark red tubular flowers that attract butterflies and birds into your yard.

Holy Moly!!
Yep, this new colour in the superbell Proven Winners line-up is quite the showstopper. Superbells are awesome plants for hanging baskets and planters in that really sunny location.
Meteor Shower Verbena
Ever heard of the container building phrase ‘thriller, filler, and spiller’? This plant is a thriller. It’s not like your average verbena, this plant is upright and grows 20-30″ high. It’s also deer resistant.
Salvia
New to our greenhouse this year, Playin’ the Blues. An amazing bluish purple blooming plant that attracts bees, butterflies, birds, and hummingbirds. This plant is a thriller, sun loving, continuous blooming plant that’s great for containers. We can’t wait to see this one in action!
Little Gem Marigolds
Lemon Gem Marigolds
A favourite of many gardeners, this mounding marigold blooms all summer long. It’s great as a border plant or in containers as a small filler.
Bamboo Grass available at Christie’s
Green Twist Trailing Bamboo
We’re in love with this crazy, vigorous trailing bamboo. This is a great trailing plant that works well on its own, or with a mix of other plants. Don’t be afraid to trim this grass if it gets to long.
