Confused about when to seed your vegetables? Here’s a special calendar for Northern Alberta gardens.

Is this your first year planting a vegetable garden? Are you trying to decode what you should seed and when? Are you trying to figure out if you should start your plants inside the house or right in the garden?

According to Alberta Agriculture, High Prairie’s average last frost date for spring is May 30th. Here’s my calendar for seeding dates for veggies, herbs, and a few flowers to start in the house. Click on the links below to download your free copy.

When the snow melts away and the weather warms up, direct seed the following veggies, herbs and flowers right into your garden:

Lettuce, Cucumbers, Peas, Carrots, Radishes, Potatoes, Onions

Dill, Cilantro, Chives

Nasturtiums, Sunflowers

Happy Seeding!
